.Lolliai's Adventure: MYCosfest08(II).
Lolliai's Second Trip To A Cosfest.
After yesterday's adventure, Lolliai still hadn't had enough. He wanted to go again. The very next day, he went to the same place at the same time. (Okay, so he was abit late.) This time, there was more than what Lolliai had expected.
There were more cosplayers, more people and more fellow dollfies! Why does it feel more exciting today? Lolliai was wondering what had brought the larger crowd today. He discovered the reason when he entered the tent.
The day before was featuring the Singing Competition and today was the performance! Lolliai was very happy when he realised that he had not missed the performance yesterday. When it began, all the seats were taken up and Lolliai had to satnd. (Obviously he didn't lol) His legs were hurting, but it was worth it.
The first performances were the solo performances. Their costumes were very nice. To end the first part of today's event, the second-runner-up of yesterday's Singing Competition sang for the audience. She sang beautifully. If the third placing had put up such a nice show, the second and first are bound to be really good.
While waiting for part two of the event, Lolliai went around. He saw many new characters. There was Gintama, Rozen Maiden, Star Wars, Soul Eater, Pokemon, Kateikyo Hitman Reborn and many more! The most eye-catching was the Gundam Seed Mobile Suit costume. It had lights coming out from it!
When the event was going to start again, Lolliai went back quickly to find a seat. Lolliai had luck and he found one in front of the stage. The team performance started. Some skids were hilarious. Some were full of emotions.
After the performance, the judges hate to tabulate the scores. While waiting, the audience was entertained by a lesson on how to use photoshop. Well, actually, the 'teacher' just did his stuff and the audience just watched. He did it very quickly and was very detailed. The end product wowed Lolliai.
When that was done, the singer who was second in place sang for the audience. It was a nice show. Afterthat, the top five teams were announcedd and they put up another skid. This time, their skid was for the top three positions. Lolliai watched and tried predicting who would win.
After the performance, the scores needed time to be tabulated. This time to entertain the audience was the winner of the Singing Competition! When the duo sang, it gave Lolliai goosebumps. It was too good. The song consisted of many songs. There was Digimon Theme Song, Lucky Star Theme Song and many others that Lolliai did not recognise. It was no wonder why they won.
Before Lolliai knew it, the song was over and it was time for the results. Lolliai was glad for the winners. They had put in a lot of effort and they deserved it. The winner of the team performance won a trip to Japan and was acknowledged to participate in the International Cosplay Event held there. It would be an honour to represent Singapore there.
After today, Lolliai was very happy. He had experienced so much. He will be looking forward to the next adventure.

When Lolliai reached the Big Tent, he felt a sense of relief. His doubts were cleared. he was glad to see so many cute stuff. He wanted them all, but he was broke. He also saw many cute costumes, and that cheered him up. ( =] )
Lolliai took a lot of pictures of the cosplayers today. There was a Bleach Group, a couple of Ls, a lot of D.Gray Man characters, and many more! Even manga teacher, Mr.Hafiz was there cosplaying! Lolliai also took some pictures with fellow Dollfies (^^.) He is glad he met many new friends.
He was glad to have met Nisa, Evil Twin and Chichi especially. They called him cute. ( xD ) && they were worried about him wearing such a hot outfit. Thats right, the bunny suit is not an ideal costume when it is a warm day. But Lolliai kept his spirits high.
Suddenly, Lolliai heard something. Somewhere behind the sounds of people chatting and cameras clicking, Lolliai hears music. He followed sound, trying to find its source. It lead to the stage. There was a competition going on. A singing competition to be more exact. Lolliai watched the competition. Many of the contestants were good. The best ones never went out of tune. Lolliai noticed that the Malays were very good at singing. Their voices were very good. Of course some Chinese had potential too. The competition was very tight.
Time flew by very fast and before Lolliai knew it, it was time to go. He couldnt stay to watch the performance. He was disappointed. Lolliai kept positive. He reminded himself that he would come again tomorrow. He would meet more friends, take more photos and of course create more happy memories.
Today's adventure will remain in Lolliai's heart forever and ever.
